	CLIENTS For current ASE clients, this page may be used as a means of accessing a fully-functional copy of the latest version of the application and the associated service pack for that version. The client file contains information required for ASE Civil to operate on a workstation and can only be obtained from either the client’s ASE webpage or from the developer. Without a valid license file (“Client.vlx”), ASE Civil will not function. TRIAL USERS If you are not currently a client but you’d like to try out ASE Civil, please feel free to download the trial version. There is no functional difference between the trial version and a full-paid license. There are no annoying dialogs or requests for authorization numbers. There is no hard-coded trial end-date. However, trial use is subject to surveillance. If you are an existing client, trial license access is tethered. If you are trying out the software but repudiate license acquisition within a reasonable time-frame, trial access is recessed.
